LO Graduation Day

Ciao a tutti!!!
Oggi voglio condividere con voi la mia nuova pagina 12x12. Per questo progetto ho utilizzato la collezione BoBunny "Family Heirlooms". E' sicuramente la migliore per fare memoria di importanti momenti della vita.

Let me introduce you to my new 12x12 page. For this page, I used the Family Heirlooms BoBunny collection. It is the perfect collection for keeping memory about special family moments.

Questa è la composizione che ho creato per questa foto, scattata 17 anni fa, il giorno della mia laurea.
This is the Layout I made for this picture, taken 17 years ago, on my Graduation Day.

Mi piace stampare le mie foto in formato 15x10 e poi scontornarle con la forbice... Lo faccio spesso, per due motivi:
- per eliminare sfondi che non mi piacciono molto..
- per fare in modo che la foto diventi veramente parte della composizione: gli abbellimenti sono davvero speciali se vanno a costruire il nuovo sfondo della foto.
I love to stamp my pictures on 6"x4" photo paper and then fussy cut them.
I do that for two reasons:
- when I don't like the background
- when I want the picture to be the strongest part of the page. Embellishments become so special if      they are the new picture background!

Io amo lavorare su più livelli... Ma mi piace molto anche mischiare tra loro elementi con superficie lucida e opaca. Per esempio, nella prossima foto, potete vedere che gli Enamel Dots, i Cardstock Stickers e l'alfabeto Thickers danno molta luce al contesto grazie alla loro superficie lucida.
I love layering, but I also love to mix up glossy and matte elements. For example: Enamel Dots, Cardstock Stickers and Thickers give so much light because of their polished surface.

Un'altra fantastica caratteristica di questa collezione è la presenza di parti in foil sui chipboard stickers. Il rame è uno dei miei preferiti!! Potete vedere nella foto il tasto da macchina da scrivere con questo effetto sul contorno.
Another wonderful feature in this collection is the foil effect on chipboard stickers. Copper is one of my fave accents! I think that these typewrites round key with foil are great.

Ho utilizzato tutti i "bottoni" di questa collezione nei precedenti progetti, fatti negli mesi passati... Per procurarmene altri, ho utilizzato il punch da 1/2 pollice su una striscia presa dal foglio Trickers della collezione. Prima di applicarli al LO, li ho spessorati...
I used all the buttons in my previews project, but I made other buttons by the 12" stripe on Trinkets cardstock using a 1/2" round punch. I layered them with a little piece of foam tape.
